yeah. I think it’s probably the latter..
or, it just could be the writers, who Really wanted to give fans what we wanted? didn’t think through the former at all. But that’s a convenient enough excuse to dismiss it, messing with Twilight is always an acceptable reason in my book, always.
As much as normal ponies seem to walk on eggshells around her I can see it happening. That or she just wants to tease Twilight as usual.
