I do recall he said he lives with his strict father.
I dunno, I guess it depends on whatever he wants to do, but as far as I know this is a stylistic choice started by Someboy101 (formerly known as Blue-Leader) and some people just stuck with it.
If you ask me I’ve definitely seen worse under MS Paint, this at least looks safe and clean.

Yeah…but couldn’t he, y’know…actually draw? Like, with an art program that involves shading?
For MS Paint it’s pretty good.
