I wasn’t actually aware that it’d gotten that far on the Twilacorn drama, but honestly it doesn’t surprise me.  
So far though this seems to be stuck to actual screen-caps. And with how little he appears I don’t think Thorax has the amount of frustrated fan that Twilight did.

The thing about the Twilicorn wingless edits and the reason I brought it up is because, other than being extremely petty, it was usually done on fan art without the original artist’s knowledge or permission, and without crediting said artist.
 
If people want to start editing fan art of King Thorax back to the changeling’s old color scheme, then they should at least 1) get the artist’s permission first, and 2) give credit to said artist.

I have no issue with the design itself, and while I’m mildly dissapointed with how the event actually transpired, the only sticking point for me is the color palette’s.  
The Changelings are just…buggy ponies now color wise, kinda ruined the Fae like traits they possesed prior to the change in my eyes.

They should’ve really gone with a color scheme like this. It would’ve worked better that way.

Is this gonna lead to a trend of editing images of Thorax (either show screenshots or fan art) so he has his old color scheme, like with the wingless edits of Alicorn Twilight?

Just thinning them out so they aren’t massive moose antlers would help.

Maybe those Beatle (I want you so bad, baby) mandible horns could be designed differently. Like making them resemble ant or wasp feelers, and then colourizing him to match either species. Speaking of which, I were to predict what Chrys may resemble ONLY IF she agrees to Requiem herself, I’d like to think she’ll resemble a moth or butterfly. :3

I don’t think this design works with any color scheme. Nice attempt, though. It’s seamless.

The grammar of that statement makes it kinda hard to understand but I’m going to assume you meant me, except one problem with that theory other than finding Starlight boring and not very well written this is the only thing the show has done that I actually really dislike, season 6 was kinda boring and had rehashed episodes but I can look past that since these writers are new and I had no problem with Twilicorn at all. This is the only thing that I feel the show really screwed up on.
 
If you didn’t care about the original changelings fine whatever but I did and seeing them basically discarded like this has killed my enjoyment of the show.
