It can go both ways actually, I’m a christian, and I’ve caught crap from both atheists, and “religious” people alike for not agreeing with them or sharing their beliefs.
One guy was even trying to “convert” me to atheism here.
As for the egg thing, it actually dates back to when Easter was a Pagan holiday before it was changed around into a christian/atheist holiday. The eggs & rabbits were meant to symbolize fertility originally in the Pagan version.

I agree she isn’t anti-religious.
But this is still using one character to force their own sentiment, whether or not the character might be reasonably expected to hold similar opinions.
What we did do is consider how the disciples came to the Tomb, looked and gasped, “He’s Gone!” Then later He appeared to them and they said “No wait, there He is.”

Pinkie isn’t anti-religion here. She’s just pro-candy, and isn’t impressed with eggs and symbolism.
I am fully with Pinkie here, fuck the reasoning, I want a solid egg!

I would think the religious person “shoving” their religion into other people’s life is the jerk/prick here.
Just a joke based on wanting candy as a kid in real life. Neither pro nor anti religious.
