Because the writers have no idea what to do with celestia and only use her for exposition or to get worfed by the villain… seriously I’m getting real tired of the show’s treatment of celestia.

Maybe next season Tia and Cadance will have more character and development.

I think that came out the wrong way. I like Celestia. But she lacks an actual character in the show, especially when compared to Luna and Twilight. Cadance could use some development too. And Flurry Heart is a baby… She’s more a thing rather than a character.
Same with the background characters.
