Geez, you must be a very salty fan of these badly-looking 3D animated movies of today if you turn around the words in his mouth and pretend he said that the MLP: FiM will look bad.
Seems like those 3D animated movies really have grown a following, despite their awfulness.
Even more reason for a 2D animated movie finally coming into cinemas again. Something needs to shake up the industry and make movie companies realize again what is really good.

I disagree with that last part of your comment. Aside from My Little Pony: The Movie, Smurfs: The Lost Village, Despicable Me 3, The Lego Ninjago Movie, and Coco all look pretty good.

I do believe Hasbro enlisted the talents of an animation company in Ireland different from DHX awhile back. I don’t know if there has been any official confirmation that the movie will have non-DHX animations though
