Turns out Starswirl was/is basically Majesty with a very strict black and white viewpoint.

I mostly just remember Aztar/the Spectre as killing unrepentant evildoers in really grisly and ironic ways.

This discussion reminds me of Ponyfinder, which talks about how ponies are a little bit too good at being paladins. I wonder what would happen if Majesty ever met Miko Miyazaki from Order of the Stick…

Majesty is best troll.
 
But when some bad guy stole her horseshoes, the worst she did was spin him around a lot until he gave them back. And she did seem to casually whip up a living pony on the spot, but afterward, she never treated him as any less than her own child.
 
She showed no mercy to villains who meant true harm, but the fact is if she felt the need to make lawn ornaments out of you, you had it coming.

For Spike birthday Majesty use her magic to create an earth pony colt to be Spike playmate, and Spike was her pet in the comics. In another Spike and the colt were playing to loud but instead of asking or telling to them to not play so loud she create a giant only they can hear and the giant is so loud the two of them are rolling around on the ground in begging it to please stop talking. This is the good queen of the ponies.

Majesty could teach a few things to the Spectre when it comes to grimly ironic fates for evildoers.

Please no. The catch with Majesty is that she is good. Destroys her enemies without a hint of mercy but all in defense of her subjects. Taking out her goodwill would just make her a generic overpowered tyrant, or worse, yet another nazi/communist joke.

And yeah, she’s a rare kind of character. Scarier than the bad guys but a total sweetheart to anyone who doesn’t need statuefying. With an adorable little colt. That she sorta magiced into existence.

And the more I hear about her, the more I want to see Majesty brought to G4 as some sort of over agressive anti-hero.
