No, that as an alternate future version of Sweetie Belle and the reasoning (which in my opinion was terrible) is explained in the story Fall of Spider-Mane (the story ended and I'm still waiting for that fall bitl).


 
I'd recommend the series with a grain of salt. It is good and enjoyable, it's jbust somethings in it are poorly contrived or executed and that bugs me.
