Pencils is rather popular and uses a Wacom Cintiq QHD27 tablet and uses Clip Studio Paint to draw his comic.
 
I’d recommend asking around and finding out what people use.
 
The greatest tool I’ve seen any artist use, is the ability to not give up. Amateur-draw for example may not get as many favorites and upvotes as he wants. But he draws what he loves, is obviously getting a lot better at drawing, and never gives up.
