Emerald asks Ruby is she slept well.
 
“Yeah, it was fine.” She says, chowing down on the Akara.
 
Emerald smiles and asks if she likes it.
 
“Yeah, these Zebra foods are starting to grow on me. Never had spices much in my life. Didn’t know what I was missing!” Ruby says, jabbing the nugget of Akara into the dipping sauce and transferring it into her mouth.
 
Emerald contemplates what he wants to do today. He certainly wants to go to an alchemy store, and definitely hit up both the temples. On the other hand he wants to see if he can get his hooves on a gun, or at the very least, some gunpowder.
 
Emerald asks what Ruby wants to do.
 
“I dunno. The temples sound kinda cool I guess.” Ruby says with a shrug. She then looks around suddenly and says, “Where is Joyride anyway? Do you think she’ll want to come along?”
 
Emerald takes a quick look around the inn and doesn’t see her. He then asks the innkeeper. This one isn’t the same one that was there last night, and he apologizes and says that he just started his shift, so he isn’t sure he knows who that is.
