You do know that companies do that all the time right? It's why Ben 10 has like 4 sequel series under different subtitle names. Mostly because after a while on a show voice actors get pay bumps as I understand it and if they retool the show they can ignore that because it's like they got hired for a different show. Just because they are doing G4.5 or a G5 doesn't mean that they have to throw everything away. They use the movie as an end cap to the show and retool it after that, it wouldn't cause that much confusion especially with the Guardians of Harmony line of toys out, just retool it under that name.
