I actually kinda like Lipstick Vanity as her name.  
I also built up a headcanon that she is Carrot Bun’s sister.  
They both are at the lower middle class level of the Equestria economic structure.  
While Carrot Bun sells fast food from a cart at different events, Lipstick Vanity sells makeup from a cart at the Ponyville outdoor market place.  
She shares her sisters hatred for annoying customers but strong desire to make a sale.  
“What you mean there is no prize money for winning??” -Lipstick Vanity during the Ponyville Buckball tryouts.
