I can tell you, all intelligent life in Equestria has a weak spot for scritchies. Cats purr, dragons roar, ponies whinnie, Griffons make a combination of tweets and purrs and Changelings buzz when you scratch under the chin or give belly rubs Uhm.. ignore that last one.

Also the original khajiits looked like wood elves in the first elder scrolls but they had markings.  
The second elder scroll games gave them fur, tails and ears but they had a human face.  
It wasn’t until morrowind that you see the khajiit breef with cat faces.

Considering that the Escape from Catrina special came out 9 years before any Elder Scrolls games did I’m gonna say that is impossible.

Wouldn’t Catrina be a Khajit? I mean, she has the fur skin, the snout, ears, tail, all of it.

It’s like in every panel, she unbuttons her shirt just a little bit more.
