“Artist Training Grounds VI Day 6: Draw a pony in space.
 
This one was really fun! Don’t worry, the Tardis will protect her and make sure she doesn’t wonder too far.
 
It certainly isn’t the most original idea on my part and there are a few interpretations of this Doctor Who scene featuring Derpy (in particular, I was inspired by both the art and music in this one: youtu.be/fJpHjNzww7s ), but I’ve wanted to render my own interpretation for a while now.
 
Painting a space scene was a different experience for me and it didn’t come out too badly I think. I tried experimenting a bit with blending colours for lighting effects which I still need a lot more practice in.
