Emerald apologizes for causing all this to happen with his letter, explaining why he did it in the process. He then says he’ll go find Ruby.
 
“Emerald… You don’t need to-” Hope starts, but is caught off by Joyride.
 
“Yeah, that was pretty stupid. Don’t you know that all that happens by getting dragged into the Order’s business is the destruction of your property and maybe death?”
 
“T-they aren’t that bad! They were quite helpful to Ponycare when we were coming here!” Hope says, a little unsure.
 
“Yeah well, now you are on their bad side. Have fun.” Joyride says while casting a spell to heal her eye.
 
Emerald asks what will happen to Ruby if they catch her.
 
“I dunno. Torture her to find out more information? Now that they know I’m involved with her it’s probably not going to be easy. I doubt they’ll kill her if that’s what you mean.” Joyride says with a shrug.
 
Emerald asks if she has any potions here or anything he can use to disguise himself.
 
“Hmm… I actually don’t think I do. I have some ingredients here, but nothing actually all made up. I don’t generally need potions that much since I can do just as much and more with my magic. Sorry lil’ perv.” Joyride says with another shrug.
 
“Let me go out and try to find Ruby.” Hope says, standing up, “I can hide pretty well with my robe. Maybe… I think?”
 
“Better you than me.” Joyride says, “I don’t want to tango with them again.
 
Emerald insists that he goes and does it.
 
“Emerald… It’s too dangerous! What if they catch you to?” Hope says, giving him a hug.
