“So yeah, my friends aren’t the only ones getting tired of the simplistic little ponies from time to time, but as I usually have commissions to balance it, I don’t mind as much… On the off chance I actually need a break, and still want to draw ponies, I end up drawing detailed, more realistic ponies.I also wanted to use my copics for something more elaborate than just the Pokemon meets… pictures, which also come with a rather simple, cuteish style, so this little scene was just perfect - and a perfect excuse to try my copics on Celestia’s fascinating mane. And a sunrise. And draw Nightmare Moon for the first time. And feathers. If there’s anything on this picture I don’t really like it’s Celestia’s wings, though. It may just be because they’re cut of… it is because they’re cut of, I always fail at wing anatomy if I can’t see the wing in full. Anyway, there is some mistake in the proportion or such, or maybe I’m just seeing things.”
