Really depends on what you’re studying.
A liberal arts degree isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on in the business world, while a professional or technical degree will almost guarantee a decent job.
Which only works if they want to work with you to make sure you’re successful. Otherwise, you get the promotion, get screwed, and end up stepping down again. Too much pressure for not enough pay, I’d say.
I guess I could go jump in a pool of literal fudge as long as it isn’t too hot.
The heck is it with this America (or Spain, whatever… just, WORLD) that got this going? It’s like we need t’go jump in a fire of renewal. All that Phoenix type stuff going on and whatnot. Gawsch.

I’m in college while working, so that’s my option. :P I am under the belief that working while studying will help somehow in the long run, but right now, I’m on a wing and a prayer.
The ones at mine aren’t that bad. Only bad experiences I had were with a few rude customers. I think one was drunk.
It’s not easy. Either work your way up (Walmart promotes from within), look for a better job in spare time, or take college or trade school classes on your days off.
Mine did both.
Also took a bunch of “management seminar” vacations on the company dime.
Oh, and stabbed me in fucking back when I was accused of something I didn’t do.
Nothing like trying to to fight a bogus assault on an officer charge while unemployed!
It makes me wonder, as a Wal-mart employee as well, what is the next step to get out of it, if one doesn’t want to end up in the job forever?
As a current Walmart employee, I only hope Pinkie isn’t a manager. Manager’s at my store lose their minds or become mega-douches.
