Nope. She's always had those throughout the movie.
 
While here the artist is turning it into a Pip-boy. I don't believe we've yet to figure out just what the heck she's wearing since none of the other students are. Screenshots:

While Twilight Kinda had something similar on her wrists for the majority of the movie, [But _*not_* during the archery part.] Hers seem different from Sunny's since they lack the buttons and screen that hers have. Twilight's are blank aside from a single Diamond shaped jewel or cufflink~  
Also Sunny's look thicker, while Twilight's look like part of the sleeve~
