Disappointed they didn’t use G1 Firefly for this.

According to the Wiki they did. Though I for the life of me I can’t find where they did in the Transcript for Testing Testing 123 which is the only time Firefly is mentioned IIRC. Firefly isn’t mentioned in Newbie Dash or Wonderbolts Academy. If anyone can find where they did then please link me to it.

Even the mares look like stallions here.

At least they went the high road of giving him an original design.
 
I could have sworn they said Firefly was a mare, but I’m probably misremembering.
