In X8, his X-Buster has a fourth charge level that knocks back guarding enemies.
That would be plausible, as many boss fights use similar tactics of being invulnerable until they have to drop their shield to attack.
Unless perhaps X already found a new weapon that can bypass or break shields…
Don’t forget all the cutie re-mark villains: NMM (when Tia didn’t have the elements), King Sombra’s army, changelings, discord, etc.

Okay, my bad. The last time I played a megaman game was at least a decade ago, so I’m not up to speed on his health bar
Edit: again, not up to speed on megaman, but i feel like most of his attacks could be stopped by a unicorn shield

That is actually what I meant. I don’t know what Celestia is, but she certainly isn’t a fighter in canon.

X can do whatever the fuck he wants. All reploids have free will; they are effectively people. Him fighting Celestia wouldn’t be any different from him fighting the Colonel, or Zero… Mega Man would have a problem due to actually being 3 laws compliant (the end of MM7 wasn’t translated accurately), but X would have no such issue. Besides, these things always assume that the “why” of the fight doesn’t matter.
No, Megaman does not die in a single hit. He has a life bar.
One that, as of X, can be refilled with Sub Tanks.
For the record, she got her ass kicked by Chrysalis. And Tirek. And possibly Discord.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the point of death battles to have 2 characters who wouldn’t or couldn’t fight each other do exactly that?
Side note: doesn’t megaman die in a single hit? If so, I doubt he could beat unicorn twi or rd, let alone celestia
How would this even work anyways? I mean X wouldn’t harm a living being it’d go against his programming not to mention the century’s worth of ethical testing to make sure said programming worked properly.
