I think it might still be in character for Sour Sweet. On the other hand, I don’t think it would have been in character for Sugarcoat in the first place.
And the less said about the Shimmerbuse Special, the better.
My headcanon is that Sunny was being a b*tch because Twilight had the opportunity to leave and go to a better school. Cinch was Sunny’s aunt (or if you don’t like that, the Flare family owed Cinch a favor) and Sunny had no way of escaping the toxic enviroment of CHS. She was taking all her frustration out on Twilight.
