I’ve taken ambulance rides before. They seem to be terrible at knowing when you’ve actually paid it :I
 
The country isn’t nearly that bad, though.

I willingly passed out on the ride. I really hated it there. You have no idea how much I dislike roller coasters.
 
The roller coaster could have fallen apart in a mangled heap right there and I wouldn’t have been conscious enough to witness it.
 
I once unintentionally passed out after reading a book on gruesome urban legends, specifically the organ legging stories. I tell ya, my family kept getting sent the same ambulance bill for months :(

Yeah. I’ll tell ya what. My family really didn’t endear me to amusement parks by forcing me to go on rides against my will :3

I was probably a bit unclear in my wording, let me try that again. The last time I was on a roller coaster I went fuck this and fainted. I thought it was a good response to a scary situation :o

Um… How do you faked your death through falling?..

If you’re actually in training, you will have instructors (two of them) holding on to you, keeping you stable as you free fall, prepared to open your parachute for you should something happen. This will be every jump until you pass the first 3 or so levels of training.
 
On the jump where I separated my shoulder, one of my instructors opened my parachute for me.

Also, a heart attack might be pretty dangerous, but aside from that, I’m pretty sure your first (maybe every?) time, the instructor dude will come over and pull your cord if you don’t.

You wouldn’t explode or burst like a tomato. Just break all your bones.
 
Humans have a terminal velocity - a maximum speed achieved while falling - like all other things. IIRC it takes something like 450m of freefall to reach that terminal velocity. Once you’ve got that it doesn’t really matter whether you’ve fallen 450m or 4500m, you hit the ground with the same force at the same speed.
 
Tl;DR = Falling from a plane is no different to falling off a skyscraper in terms of what your body does.

I did mention the part about having a heart attack or fainting right? The last time I was on a roller coaster I had to fake death/fall unconscious to get out of the experience :P
 
While I don’t usually have a fear of heights (as long as a floor and wall is protecting me). I still have a pretty big fear of falling to my death. So for anyone I’ve ever wronged, throwing me out of a plane without a parachute is a pretty good way to get that revenge you’ve been looking for :3
 
And that’s also why I admire the artist for liking skydiving. It would just be terrifying to me :O

Looking at that one episode of King of the Hill (Cue Freefalling by Tom Petty), you’d just be a sack of broken bones being lucky enough to even talk. I dunno. I guess it depends on how much safety gear you’re wearing.

Different strokes for different pony folks. In my specific case.
 
I’d either have a heart attack or faint into unconsciousness, be unable to activate my parachute, then hit the ground and explode like an overripe tomato. Yeah, that would be pretty hot.
 
I’m really glad you enjoy skydiving though. Its fun to celebrate the differences between people sometimes :D
