Some gay priest obtained the power of accelerate time (but living beings are unaffected) so he accelerate the universe until the big crunch happens, followed of a big bang and then the universe basically reset itself to the same than before, but because every living being has experience a full life they now know what will happen next, basically erasing the "surprise" part of the life, for the priest this was "Paradise".
