Oh. Sorry about that then. It’s hard to tell when people are speaking anonymously. And while that’s true, it’s still the same concept. It’s not owned, so the removal of an edited image isn’t necessary. It’s not like people are going to think that the original artist made the edited version-
there’s likely a clear delineation of quality. Even if it -issimilar, people have the right to edit it if they wish, even if the artist clearly does not like the fetish that is being added in. Second while there is some truth there, there is a difference in drawing fetish art of a character, and taking an already existing image and editing over it.
Then why did you include the word ‘popular’ in your first statement? Additionally, I’m not entirely sure that such qualifies here, since this is art of a franchise which the artist doesn’t own… Which would mean that the artist is disrespecting the franchise, by your view.

It has nothing to do with being popular, it’s called respecting an artists work.
Especially when in this case it was a commission.
If you’re gonna edit it, at least keep it private.
