So wait, was it in the past where humans had internet and memes? Or this Anon is from modern times but the heavy background magic will cause him to explode like it did for past Equestria’s humans?

Yeah, in a world where no one could remember one of their two immortal rulers attempted a coup 1000 years ago all backstory is going to sound like fanfiction.

So Discord was human? Also that backstory felt more like fanfiction than true story.

Well, that dragon lady sure does look like Ember, but:  
a) we already know that Ember is a child of dragon - that means that we’re talking about Ember’s ancestor here;  
b) the age gap of nearly a century didn’t stop people from romancing Liara in Mass Effect.

So let me get this straight- first there was an Earth, then there was Thundarr the Barbarian, then there was unicorns, then everything went Shadowrun The Manga, and now all humans have to be Papyrus’s boy-band love-slave?
