She’s not the only loyal shipper out there, and a lot of others manage to be way more mature in how they handle teasing and criticism (and just plain difference of opinion). It’s juvenile to try to bait or poke at her yeah, but a lot of times her reactions are just as immature, probably the reason why so many like to make teasing jabs if they know it’ll get that kind of response (basically don’t feed the trolls). She’s posted aggressive rants against people who like other ships to show/comic staff members who’ve written things she doesn’t personally approve of. No matter how you spin it, there are better ways to handle things.

People often pick on her for how devoted she is to her OTP. Even if she sometimes reacts a bit too much, it seems really unfair to paint her as the problem just cause she’s a shipper and they have a bad name. Her reactions often come from people actively trying to bait her because they know she’s completely faithful to her pairing.
 
Also, imo part of the problem is that a lot of the poeple who do the teasing (or judge, like in your case) do so because they have a different way to enjoy the show. Not everyone is fully faithful and devoted to single ship. Most people change ships like underwear, so they don’t understand what its like to feel a connection to certain characters and their interaction.
 
Regardless of anything else, if there were more people like Pia, there would be far less trolling since there’d be more people who know what its like to be invested in something and how annoying it is when otehrs bash it.

Well pia-chan do have a point, but no need to act immature about either. I see what she talking about, people has said that Sparity is dead for years how and nothing happened, and the next episode reveal that Spike still has a crush on Rarity and doing the same old thing.
 
And there are some issues I have about the Spike and Ember shipping. I’m personally think it wouldn’t work anyway, since she rules the dragons and he lives with the ponies, it would never work out.
 
Spike would never left Twilight and her friends behind because he is loyal to them they are his family to him.

Of course it doesn’t have a chance of beating the Sparity counter yet, the episode just aired yesterday. You’re probably right about it not happening, tho. I personally hate Sparity, but it’s been too established for too long.
