I liked the art and visuals there I said something good about it.
I think this and that are quite different my friend.
Saying the story is objectively bad is at least defensible and isn’t what I’m objecting to. Saying there’s “literally nothing good” about it and that it’s “well known to be” the second-worst story from IDW is a bridge too far. After all, Buster Keaton’s The General was met with poor reviews from critics and audiences when first released, but a few decades later it was hailed as one of the greatest silent films and one of the greatest movie comedies.
While I don’t hate Ted, (I even enjoyed a few of his stories, especially a funny MST3k nod he put in one, for older fans to spot) it isn’t surprising people would question somebody who’s pallying around with questionable radical people (like Cuteosphere/Dragondicks) who preach hatred under the ‘guise of empowering women. (Which has given feminism a bad reputation.)
I don’t want to get into that old drama, but sadly the reprocussions of it have soiled IDW & the MLP:FiM comic’s reputation for many fans.
Usually I’m inclined to agree that stating an opinion as fact is wrong but when the majority of people dislike it and minority of people who do is so small sometimes an opinion becomes more than just that. I THINK siege is terrible the same way I THINK the earth is round.
Really? Teds still with them? Hmm it looks like that letter they wrote stating Ted would never work with them again wasn’t entirely honest.
P.S.: Tedly’s soon going to become the most-published writer of the IDW MLP comics, so I think it’s safe to say that IDW doesn’t have plans to stop publishing his stories.

Two OCs, actually, and he got attacked viciously. And he didn’t just say that females have it harder than males (which is true, though much less so than it used to be), he said it’s impossible for a man to be a victim of sexism. Also, while I don’t recall him saying anything against bronies himself, he definitely reblogged a lot of anti-brony posts, mostly from Cuteosphere. But I’m sure someone who’s more invested in Tedly than I am can provide a more comprehensive list of his sins along with source links for everything.
There was nothing good about siege literally nothing and no I’m not going to argue with an anon about it as it is already well known to be one of the worst comics to ever come from IDW besides the western arc.
I’ll admit for the part about telling people to attack fans on twitter I’ve only heard like 10 people say that but never actually post the tweet so I’ll retract that but the other stuff he did do and IDW already said he wouldn’t work with them again.
I dislike the Dragon Town comic, but aside from the ending the Siege arc wasn’t that bad, and the blueblood one was pretty good.
Ted put ONE cameo 2 years ago, of an OC “friend”, and got chided HARD for it, so it’s pretty certain this won’t happen again, and even bobby assured of that. . He NEVER attacked fans of the show, he just made a post on Round Stable stuff about how females has it harder than male to try to justify a defense he made before about her art.
While he is most likely a SJW lapdog (I myself was “triggered” when he reblogged bullshit about charlie hebdo spouting it was a racist far right magazine who almost deserved it when they weren’t at all, he corrected himself fast) he’s absolutely not a “hater” and never attacked fans of the show, and it’s more attitude like yours that would push him into that.
And while again I really disliked the EqG story, again, most of the rest is pretty okay. he’s at least the one I’d see most as a fan of the show so I’d rather keep him around that put someone with the talent of Neil dusedeau.
Edited
When did Ted tell people to attack fans of the show?
This is bait it’s gotta be bait. Whitley’s dragon town and siege arcs say hello, Ted’s as you said is less in the comics but that doesn’t make the dissonance he gets petty as telling people to attack fans of the show and putting Anti-brony OC’s in his comics as well as the aforementioned EQG special.
When did she put her in a good light? She barely does anything in her comics and is put as the butt of joke in most (like the bull arc). Or is even put down by pinkie (in the Reflection arc). And then we have straight up this.
And yes, after the bull arc, the deer arc, and this one, I still do not like her. I actually prefer Both whitley and Ted Anderson’s stuff now (aside from the EqG specials), and they get hate for petty bullshit that isn’t really represented in the comics.
Ponies don’t have wings, can’t talk, ect., either.

I don’t know, at times she can.
Also, even if her stories aren’t always perfect, must we always demonize her much like how people used to always demonize Meghan McCarthy, and others who have given us pony over the years?
Not in real life, they don’t.
Edited
Of course. I think we just found the latest threat to Equestria, right?
It’s not just you, they are the embodiment of concentrated grumpiness after all.
Be used to it, Cook really can’t put her in a good light.
Context means nothing to haters, I guess.
Regardless surprisingly, this issue seems to be much better received on this site then… almost every other issue from the past 2 years. Admittedly, the shifting art styles look nice. Though, this expression might be a bit too exaggerated.
