Sorry for the Necropost but...
Can someone explain to me the hate that is given to Loonatics Unleashed?
When I saw the promo for the old show about a year ago, it looked bad. Real bad. It looked like the quality of Teen Titans Go with all the subtlety of a 90s Rob Liefeld cartoon or comic.
Then I actually watched the first episode. Then another. Then another. Then the entire two seasons.
It.Was.Awesome!
First off, literally nothing from the promo ever made it to a single episode, the animation and style was completely redone.
Second, it's just a damn good show. Think Tiny Toons meets Static Shock. It wasn't a SUPER good show, but it was still really good. Every descendent of the original Looney Toons cast kept the personality and light hearted spirit of the original show, and the hero work being a medium for their growth.
The 6 descendents of Bugs, Lola/Babs?, Daffy, Taz, Wile E., and Road Runner grow closer then their originals while still retaining their enjoyable friction.
Oh, and the 2nd season intro sucked ass. That was my only major complaint.
