Emerald asks about Zip.
“Who?” Joyride says, turning back to her card game.
Emerald says, a bit sheepishly, that it’s the pony that died today.
“Oh. Didn’t know him to be honest. You’d have to ask some of the crew.” Joyride replies, “I wouldn’t do it now though. Let them have their fun.”
Emerald nods, and then asks if maybe he can get a gun.
“Eh… I mean if you want. I also found guns to be a bit impractical. Sure when you first start out you are on even footing with a spellcaster, but you miss that shot and the magician will get to fire a million spells at you before you can even get another bullet in the gun.” Joyride says dismissively.
Emerald nods, and then looks around to see who he can see in the crowded kitchen area. Emerald spies Ruby watching some guys arm wrestle, and the Captain is chatting with some of his crew in a corner happily. Bo is sitting at the table with the new crew mate, and they seem to be chatting as well.
