Yeah microtransactions are just too easy in luring some people. Back in the day, I was one of the few that actually did well in the game without spending a single cent, but that meant checking back on the game almost every hour for three years and making multiple accounts to guarantee perfect scores in the EQG dancing section. It’s probably harder with all the fancy timed events now.

How many games are priced around 13? Actually, now a-days everything is pretty much microtransactions because they know some people will spend hundreds on a game with microtranscations but never will spend that much just buying a game

Tried to resist, but I’m finally going to be that guy. This was my screencap sent in to EqD when I was still playing the game. Also I probably never made it clear enough, but that price is in SGD, not USD, so that’s around 13.34USD by current conversion rates. Still pricy though.

I mean, if a microtransaction is going to improve/extend the gameplay, alright, cool, I wasn’t going to buy it because I’m broke anyways .
 
But if your entire game is based on three to five microtransactions every seven fucking minutes, you’re just a greedy piece of shit.
