Here’s hoping she grows up to use her inherently evil powers for good, or at least remains neutral. Maybe Luna will warm up to her, train her, make her a lieutenant, and Luna can start taking weekends off from dream watching.

Heck yeah it’s justified! We all know how it feels to create a masochistic dream monster to punish ourselves, only for some jerk to come along, seduce it, and sire a child with it. Do you think he at least took it on a date first? Do you think it assumed a form or did he just snuggle up with the gaseous semi-physical flying dark galaxy? It’s easy to forget a condom but you don’t have much excuse when either you or your nightmare demon partner could dream one up.
 
Ha ha ha, but seriously, I think Luna’s just accustomed to disproportionate anger and punishment for infractions. I mean, she spent like an hour and a half as Nightmare Moon and had to spend 1000 years on the moon and… however long four seasons is getting dirty with the Tantibus to make up for it. I can’t help but imagine her as the Queen of Hearts, hollering OFF WITH THEIR HEADS for every minor infraction while Princess Celestia plays the King of Hearts and quietly pardons each and every one of them.
 
Either that or she’s just letting off some frustration, and will calm down before we know it. As soon as it hits her she’s misjudged and admonished an innocent creature just because it’s of the night, she’ll back right off.

Pretty close. I’ve never given any character a specific height, and all of them are sized with reference to GMHAA himself. At eye level, mares are about stomach-high on him, stallions chest high, Big Mac Luna and Shiny are about neck high, and Celestia towers right over him.
 
One day I’m going to draw a proper nice-looking size comparisen chart. The one I have now just for personal reference is literally cobbled together from several vectors and screencaptures and frankly is far too ugly to upload.
