I think I can see what the artist is going for with starlights element, what whith the whole “everyone is equal under the law” thing but honestly, someone who was never punished for their crimes or even put on trial in any recognisable court has no buisness representing justice or enforcing it on anyone else.

Well OK OK I’ll give you that one. I guess she could work as a concept of justice. I just hope she doesn’t mistake justice for revenge.

Justice actually works as it’s the virtue most shaped by man (or pony), and as such can be seen as good or evil.

Starlight would be the Element of Equality, duh.
 
And Sunset, empathy? I don’t know… she felt zero empathy before she reformed, for a pretty long time - not just some small hiccup like the others sometimes had.  
Element of love for Twilight would be better.

Shimmer would be Empathy definitely, but what element would Glimmer honestly be?

Pretty sure I remember a tweet saying that if Sunset was an Element then she’d represent Empathy.

As for Starlight Glimmer, because Equality already goes to the bottomless pit upon turning (or being turned) face, but I respect the artist’s HC, it is bound to be debated.
