She is more sensitive to explosions when warm, but is far less sensitive to explosions when relaxed and comfortable, so it’s a net win XD

So what’s her usual exploding pose?  
Standing on two legs, hooves raised to the sky, making some explosion gesture? Crouching down, making herself small as if to focus the explosion? Or is she just standing there, squinted eyes, puffy cheeks, until she blows up?  
Currently, I can’t help imagining her like…

No, she was an experiment gone wrong. Meant to be a reusable nuke that could be retrieved after detonation, they didn’t realize that said reusable nuke would be left at ground zero where the enemy could just as easily retrieve her and use her so they mothballed her. She has no hope of ever being used, just nobody had the heart to tell her :P

She’ll never unexpectedly explode instantly. Just… if she tells you to run, just run without asking questions. If she suddenly sprints away from everyone, don’t follow XD

A few times I’ve suddenly woken up in the middle of the night, very sad or very scared (or both), or even with an overwhelming feeling of happiness and peace
 
Is there a risk of her blowing up when her emotions get the best of her while sleeping?

She likes exploding. The urge to explode comes and goes like an itch, and giving in and detonating herself is like an extended period of getting one’s back scratched condensed into an instant for her. It’s why she works in demolition: the money’s nice but she’s REALLY only in it to have an excuse to blow up XD

She also has an internal timer that can accidentally be set, though she can turn it back off, but she can also just spontaneously explode if her emotions get the better of her :P

Just make sure her pin doesn’t get pulled, her tail-fuse doesn’t get lit and pray there’s nothing nitroglycerin-based in her, then I don’t see how it’d be a problem.

Just remember if she starts ticking during the hug, just shove her away and run. She won’t get mad, she understands completely XD
