a lot of the rigging and inconveniences were Scifi’s fault tho
Her words were twisted around a lot; although to some degree she does see herself as an authority on cosplay she’s by no means pompous about it in real life and you can’t say it’s unearned, as she’s one of the only people to actually make a living off cosplay. I’ve met her several times and she’s quite sweet; I’d be hesitant to believe a lot of the rumors I’ve heard about her.
Yaya Han basically dedicated an entire show to painting her and her posse as drama queen martyrs and rigging masquerade contests. She’s honestly kind of horrible.
