They prepare to leave but Trixie stops for a bit.
 
Sunset: Why are you stopping?
 
Trixie: Trixie feels as if someone’s breathing down her neck…
 
They turn around to see a girl with purple hair and wearing a red tunic, standing VERY close to Trixie.
 
Sunset: Okay, how did I not notice you?
 
???: I’m very good at hiding. In any case, I’m Starlight Glimmer. After Zelda and Twilight disappeared I… asserted myself.
 
Trixie: And why are you here?
 
Starlight: Well, while you two were playing the waiting game, Ganondorf entered the Sacred Realm and took all he wanted from there. He now rules with a dark fist.
 
Sunset: And how do we stop it?
 
Starlight: You have to awaken the Sages, they will give you the power necessary to stop Ganondorf. Forest, Mountain, Lake, Tomb, and Desert. These are the location of the Sages. Awaken them with haste.
 
As the mysterious girl vanishes, Sunset and Trixie are left to ponder just what the heck was her deal.

I considered that dynamic when I thought of making this a full series instead of one-shot moments. I also considered having Trixie be the one always geared for a fight, the action series gamer type and Sunset being more the achievement hunter/collector player type.

I would love a Sunset Trixie partnership that was canon. They seem like they would play off each other brilliantly with Trixie as the quirky and slightly inept one and Sunset as the perfect straight man.
