@Floyd Actually, I’ve given the idea some thought; it’d just take a biiiiit of history tweaks. Really, the big crunch is in Valen’s whole history.

I don’t like the idea of those crossovers because each franchise has separate future history and separate alien neighbors and separate everything. It’s just not compatible. “Who” meets “Blake’s 7” is valid but that’s about it.

@Floyd Sounds kinda like any attempt at a legitimate Doctor Who x TNG x B5 crossover; the idea is popular, but noone wants to put it in play. XD

“Lexx” was really creative. I especially loved the Insect Civilization. Seasons 3 and 4 had serious problems, but it ended before it ever got truly bad. I used to spend all my time on a website called Sad Geezers something something. It started out as a “Lexx” side then branched into other stuff. I was always trying to get the staff to put up a “Doctor Who” section, but there just wasn’t much interest.

@Dax Sounds like the Sonic fandom. XD I always keep confusing Andromeda for BSG, and apparently the Andromeda miniseries was about on par with Legend of the Rangers for fans.

@Dax Well, I said Bester was my favorite villain. Londo is undoubtedly the best and favorite character in the show, watching him slip into darkness, fall to his own vices, and still try to make amends, was both inspiring and tragic.

I was a member of the Andromeda Fandom till the bitter end,  
No one hated that show more then it’s own fans.

@Floyd I always joke that I’m B5’s equivalent to a Brony, so I can follow ya on that. XD
 
Truth be told, Trek vs B5 isn’t really a good comparison; they’re entirely different formats. Hell my best advice to budding B5 fans is to watch TNG first, so you go in expecting episodic idealism and then get an awesome surprise. :D

I like Bester but My favorite Character From B5 would have to be Londo hands down.  
After everything he went through and the way his character evolved, I have never been more proud and more sad for a fictional character before or since.

I was most active on forums when I was a teenager in 2000-02. “Trek” vs. “B5” and “Farscape” vs. “Lexx” were the heated topics that never went away. It was brutal. But then again every fandom I’ve gotten far into has its nasty side.

@Dax Rattler Ah, Garak, the best tailor-spy in sci fi history. The dude was so good at lying, he’d make the Minbari look honest. XD
 
Weyoun is still my favorite villain on the show, lol; only reason he’s not in the top spot for all sci fi is because Bester exists. XD

It never gets old to people like us. The people I interact with in the User World have forgotten most of it.

DS9 is actually the best of the Trek series, IMHO (my favorite is TNG, though). While it started out as a B5 double, it grew into its own via the Dominion arc, Sisko’s development into a true leader/prophet/Star Trek Chuck Norris, and Dukat’s fantastic villainy.
 
I think it’s better than Voyager, miself! (Bold, controversial statement as that is. XD)

@Dax Rattler Maybe it was the Muppets and poor man’s Roger Delgado, lol. Crichton was fun, though; he’d fit in on Red Dwarf in some respects.

I liked Farscape:D  
It wasn’t as good as Babylon but It wasn’t trying to be.  
It was delightfully insane though. It’s fun to see John go from a regular average Joe astronaute to Bat shit insane bad ass by the end of the series:)

@FloydPinkerton Shhhh, the Firefly fans will hear you! Seriously, those dudes are…enthusiastic about that show. To put it lightly. XD
 
Farscape flat out sucked, though. Anyone who thought that it was on par with Babylon 5 needs to watch Babylon 5 and be immediately corrected. XD

I’ve heard about how “Crusade” got wrecked, but if you ask me it was still very entertaining. I thought it was a better ensemble cast space opera than “Farscape” or “Firefly.”
