Was looking through the top rated pictures just now and saw this one. The scarf and how her hair is done up made me instantly think back to Luna’s author photo up there. Highly doubt the comic artist was influenced by the drawing below though. It is one of those coincidences that you gotta appreciate.  
 
Also we need more pictures of wavy haired princesses dressing up their manes.

Ever since “Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep”, I would not be surprised that she would write herself with glaring negative flaws. Girl blames herself for becoming Nightmare Moon and terrorizing the ponies of Equestria. Inserting herself into a story with those kinds of issues, she probably wants people to see her as she sees herself.
