The hair by itself is enough differentiation for some people. And some people find redheads to be hot.
That IS a crazy thought; everyone in the EQG world has pretty much the same face and proportions, just like with the ponies. Spike falling for Rarity was done specifically to show that she was particularly attractive, Sunset has had nothing of the sort. It’s odd, is all I’m saying.
Or - crazy thought here - people think she’s attractive to others because they find her attractive themselves.
