@Pagan
Yeah I wish they kept in when you could lead the Brotherhood of Steel. I liked the BOS in Fallout 3 and to a lesser extent Fallout New Vegas but they became outright bigoted in Fallout 4. The way they look down on Synths and Ghouls is deplorable.
lol, so I’m wondering around with curie and I have the pony plushie’s mod I’m picking up junk and other things and she either says nothing or asks how much the thing I pick up is worth, then I pick up a Rarity plush and her response is “ah, this belongs in the trash” I just stared at her before telling her to leave.
@The CLaUD
When Danse breaks down and admits he needs you cause he no longer has anything else I started to like him I won’t take him with me on missions due to the brotherhoods presence but I let him stay at my place with my other followers.
He actually doesn’t hate synths once you do his quest he says he was wrong to think that way and is even proud to be one but Bethesda didn’t update his dialogue after the quest so he repeats all his old lines because they were lazy.
I always do the neutral ending where the minutemen are in charge but the brotherhood and railroad are also still alive, I like the virtirbird encounters and I don’t want to kill children which blowing up the Prydwen does.
Now, I have absolutely zero problems with humanised ponies (including Equestria Girls, which I love), but when it comes to anything MLP:FiM related, I (just personally) prefer our adorable quadrupedal equines.
@The CLaUD
yeah fuck that guy. wene i started a war on the brotherhood i went back to sanctuary hills, killed him deader than shit and belt a saloon on his corps.
@Pagan
The only thing I like about Danse is the way you adress him (cuz it sounds like you’re commanding him to dance!), otherwise, he can march his biggoted, mecha ass back to the /Pol/dwyn.
@The CLaUD
If I have to name my fav characters from most to least it would go Hancock, nick, maccready, piper, curie, cait and danse. I don’t care about the others.
@UTTFISH’S
I feel similarly about Nick. After Curie he’d probably have to be my favorite.
(Though It’s probably more that he’s such a frigging hero [he can’t let his own feelings get in the way of helping others! Man what a hero!], and that he just decides to quote The Raven at one point, which makes the Poe fangoyl in me squee with delight)
@Manual_Monaro @The CLaUD
Yes, this! It gives her more personality than some ole’ human body.
And probably similar reasons to, say, preferring feral ponies to humanized ponies.
@The CLaUD @UTTFISH’S @Pagan
I really love robot Curie as well. To be honest, I’d kind of like it if you could keep her old body (even though transferring her into a synth body (and the consequences of such) is almost entirely the point of her companion arc). There’s just something about her robot form that oozes cuteness and personality. As weird as it sounds, I wish you could romance her like that.
And Nick Valentine too.
In saying all that, I also find the 80-X Boxguards from Deus Ex: Human Revolution to be strangely adorable, so make of that what you will. :P
@Pagan (leans back in again)
She also has a cute robotic modulation to her voice, which she doesn’t have once she’s a synth…
unless you have her wear power armor with a helmet, but it’s not the same! (stays awkardly for a second, the leans back out)
