for me i prefer they are shown in the next movie as friends who care and help each other, sure we could ahve then end up together like seeing a vision of them in the future or have their son/daughter come to help them, but i think the only way to fix flash is for him to stop seeking her love and start seeking her friendship, then romance will flourish later on.
Sure you many never see Pony Twilight ever again but at least you still have your chances to be Sci-Twi’s boyfriend so you still have a chance of finding love.
I mean Sci-Twi is still single so you still have a chance.
