That’s what I meant, why would they have even been referencing something they thought wouldn’t have been released at that point anyway? That seems implausible.
Probably not? But it also has nothing to do with Friendship Games (as pointed out, she doesn’t look anything more like Midnight Sparkle than alicorn twilight does in general)
She also has Raven’s voice actress.

I was just talking about the painting. I don’t think they even expected Friendship Games to be released when this episode aired.
