I like to imagine that this guy is standing all alone because all his companions got sick of impaling their hands on his armor every time they needed to swap inventory bits.

I always thought it looked pretty formidable, myself. While my smithing library is upwards of 1,000 recipes, I always did prefer the ebony armor. Badass.

@Paska I’ll say this for the mod, the glass sword looks FUCKING AWESOME. And the Daedric sword looks like it has…what’s the word…oh right, dignity! (Though the Daedric Large Axe in the original takes the cake for stupid weapons. XP)

@Bright See, that falls under the “awesome but impractical” category. Remember, you need to keep setting up the Flesh spells, and if you’re out of magic or, God forbid, you’re dealing with Forsworn, that can get tricky.

@Paska I’m looking at his work on the Steel Plate as we speak. Dear God, I hope somebody paid him for this kind of detailing! (I pity the guy, some day he’ll need to make Glass Armor, and detailing that will be oh so detail-oriented. XD)

That’s something which always impressed me about PC Elder Scrolls players: they go nuts with the ideas to improve the armor. Which mod is your poison?

@optimistic_cynic My personal favorite is Ebony, if only for the whole Black Knight motif. Glass Armor is also awesome, even if my current Light Armor guy has so little smithing skill that he won’t get a good set for a while.

Then again, Abridge, I find that it goes really well the modded cloaks and if one is looking to do more of a Warriors of Chaos look, with some slight modifications to the armor.

@Ashdreg I dunno, every time I see this armor I crack up a little bit. It feels like it was designed by Rob Liefeld in a bad LOTR bent.
