I know the pink hair and the style is kind of what people put sucy and fluttershy together but Sucy is an asshole so I don’t feel that fluttershy as Sucy makes sense. Either way still incredible art

If this was Sci-Twi instead of regual Twi, I would have give a fav.
 
This art is reaaly good, and well, i finally watched the 2 seasons of LWA

Maud should be Sucy, it’d fit with her character better.

Man…after watching Little Witch Academia, I realized what Equestria Girls could have been…Why go to a regular high school when you can go to a MAGICAL school.

holy shit that looks too much like Twilight

While Twilight shares a lot with Akko in physical traits, I can’t see her as said character because of how little Akko cares about actual magical study. ‘History of Magic’ seems like it’d be one of Twilight’s favorite classes!

No problem, because honestly… some of the character designs have an almost striking resemblance to EqG characters, which is kinda funny because the anime actually predates Equestria Girls (by a few months, but still).

Kind of, it’s getting there. The anime goes by the name of Little Witch Academia.
 
It started as some sort of “Young Animators Training Project” guided by people from Studio Trigger (Kill la Kill, Gurren Lagann and stuff) and after successful pilot and kickstarter campaign it got a second episode. I’ve seen it has some pretty fluid and cute animation and almost everyone whom I’ve asked has told me to watch it, but I haven’t gotten around to it yet. Also notable that it has next to no fanservice, unlike Kill la Kill or Gurren Lagann.
 
Just so happens the creator Yoh Yoshinari has also done quite a few pony arts and the show itself even has one or two references to MLP and other western shows.

Wouldn’t Rarity make more sense than Fluttershy or Rainbow Dash seeing that she can actually use magic
