I think you may be slightly misunderstanding the purpose of this tumblr backup effort… be sure the blog in question is actually at risk of being censored.

@MaresFillies I am able to access lethanvas.tumblr.com and tumblr-tools is downloading the blog. I am not able to keep up at this moment (downloading from mobile network!) so try again.

Okay, cool. I actually got the first one to work now. But amazin-arts.tumblr.com is still dead. Since he is taking on that one. I’ll do another nsfw blog so I can free up my bandwidth.

Sorry but I didn’t manage stage 2, there were too many blogs filled with garbage that also jammed the queue for hours and I didn’t have the time to constantly monitor it.

Here’s the complete list of active tumblrs ever posted or mentioned in this thread, in the thread you linked and the ones that @Darkenetor has shared with me.  
Pretty much the most complete list with all the dead and password-protected tumblrs filtered out. Hope it helps but I’m not holding my breath considering there’s only 5 hours 15 minutes left till tumblrpocalypse…
