Okay, so… I’ve got an idea, that maybe will catch more interest to try.
Fair warning: Idea is not strictly MLP based, but still can work with it.
Scenarios:

A normal person was just sitting at their house, when saw an ad of some AR Writing App. And after installation, find out that whatever you write down into it, will come real, and everyone will think it always was like that. Can be a physical notebook.

A normal pony found a notebook with exact same powers as app from first scenario.
It can be an ancient artefact, joke of Discord, or a treasure from another world, you name it.
Only rule is: Don’t cause a massive destruction of a planetary level, I’m not a fan of war like stuff, or a massive cataclysm. Tho, I’m okay with Giants/Giantess, that’s only exception for possible heavy destructions.

Since I’ve encountered situations when people don’t really get how it works, I’ll give an example.
You: Owner of the notebook write down that instead of being a earth pony, they always were a Unicorn.
Me: Once those words were finished, thry glow for a second, and suddenly when owner blinked and looked in the mirror, on their forehead appeared an actual, real horn. And none of the others are aware of the changes, as for the rest of the world, owner always was a Unicorn.
Something like that, but anything is possible. Can be a reverse, where you are playing a notebook. I hope idea is more clear now.
