I am getting a Wii U soon, upgrade my gay-man PC and wait a year or two to get a PS4.

All I know is that I want that upcoming X game from Monolith Soft.
 
I heard rumors about it either being a new Xeno game or a sequel to Xenoblade. One guy told me that it might be called “Xenoforms”.
 
Then there’s Kingdom Hearts 3 to get me all hyped up.

I’m looking forward to Bayonetta 2! I never tried the first one but when it comes to action games, Platinum hasn’t disapointed me yet.
 
I’m also super hyped for Super Smash Bros, but that has it’s own thread. (shameless self advertising!!)

Theres a new name for it now but I cant remember it.

Picked up AoE 2:HD and that magical, new expansion today on Steam for seven dollars. At some point I’ll have to download that all to my computer and have a spruced up childhood again.

I wouldn’t get my hopes up, but hopefully it will be better than the FF13 series overall at least.

…well, Super Mario 3D World looks fun and it was cool to hear that Megaman will be in the next Smash Bros., but I don’t think that’s quite enough to justify biting the WiiU bullet just yet (too bad Sonic Lost World didn’t pan out); there also always seems to be something I anticipate coming down the Steam pipeline…
 
…btw, I know this might be a weird thing to ask and this possibly might be proof I live under a rock, but if platformers like the Metroid and Castlevania games are “metroid-vania,” other platformers like Donkey Kong Country and Kirby’s Epic Yarn are “collect-athons,” and still other platformers like the Mario games are “hop ’n bop,” then what do you call platformers in the vein of the Sonic games? Or the Megaman games, for that matter? How ’bout games like Super Mario 64?

I’m saving up for a good gaming PC. Hopefully something which resembles the monolith from 2001.
 
Then I’m going to run up skyrim and finally finish in good HD graphics with all the damn mods I want.  
Then I will probably finish up the fallout series and try Dark Souls.  
After that I’ll probably be ready to ship out and detox for the 2 months they keep you before sending me off to whatever school they want.

Anyone here ever try the eXceed series? It’s a game series similar to Touhou. The first one isn’t that good but its two sequels are.
 
It’s a seriously underrated series, It’s on Steam if any of you are interested, I’d definitely recommend it if any of you are looking for a Touhou alternative.

I read that Hideki Kamiya wasn’t directing the development for Bayonetta 2.
 
Bayonetta 2 will still be an awesome worthwhile game when it comes out, it’s just that Hideki is too busy thinking up of new IPs.
 
Back when Platinum Games’ devs used to be apart of Capcom’s Clover Studios, they’re main purpose was to make new IPs for Capcom.
 
Long after Capcom shutdown Clover and its devs decided to found Platinum Games, they still have the mindset to want to make new IPs.

I’m 17 years old if you must know.  
Funnily enough, the Sega Mega Drive was technically my first console.  
Couldn’t beat Sonic 1 then, can’t beat it now. Or rather, I haven’t gotten round to it.

The first console i ever played was the NES, i have beaten one game for it, Dragon Warrior(AKA Dragon Quest)
 
In other news, I am a bit peeved at Yahtzee, He failed to list Killer Instinct in the exclusives duel between PS4 and XB1.

I’m not sure if I like Yahtzee any more.  
I mean, I like his comedy and style, but some of his reviews are just crap.  
Like his Sonic Generations one. That game was fantastic. (Not just this one, there are other reviews that don’t even seem at all fair)

Yahtzee isn’t ecstatic about the new gen right now. I can see why.
 
PS4 and Xbox One are not worth having until a year or two later.

It’s very important to remember Yahtzee is a character, so i always take his reviews with a grain of salt, after all he rights off games because they aren’t a genre he likes, Modern Military Shooters, Fighting games, and turn based games in particular come to mind, I watch Yahtzee to laugh, Angry Joe is who to watch for good reviews, I still disagree with him some times, Alpha Protocol and Fable 3 being 2 examples, but Joe has a better scale of good to bad, And way less humor effecting his ratings,
