It's part of the "Super Hero Year" that Toei is doing, the 45th anniversary of the Kamen Rider series and 40th season of Super Sentai.
 
Amazons is a new 13 episode series based on Amazon, if connected to it isn't really known, that is put on on Japanese Amazon Prime, it is part of this event like the Kamen Rider 1 movie.
