Musk is already admitting that DOGE won’t be able to cut $2 trillion from the budget and they’d be lucky to even get half that.

On the one hand, it’s a good thing this dipshit won’t be able to fuck everyone over by cutting effectively 2/3 of the national discretionary budget (especially since not a penny would come from the military. Guess where they’ll have to make those cuts?)

On the other hand, this is still a good thing because this image continues to be proven correct again!

Speaking of Musk, I learn that it was discovered that he had someone else play Path of Exile 2 for him and he pretended it was all him, and he was caught because he decided to stream himself and knew nothing about his gear or how to play the character. Which A) really? You think playing Diablo 4 is a flex? What a loser. And B) players crunched the numbers and figured out that it wasn’t physically possible to get that far that fast for a single person and still have and still find time to sleep or whatever, particularly for someone as visible as Musk showing he’s not spending every minute of every day grinding. So of course the fraud must be paying a team to play for him.

All this being a roundabout way of pointing out that Musk’s entire professional career has been him buying other people’s work and calling it his own. Turns out he does that with his gaming career too.

On the subject of California water shortages. In addition to climate change, we should probably not forget that the biggest users of water in SoCal are Lynda and Stewart Resnick, owners of a sprawling agribusiness that consume more water than every residential home in LA combined.

The article is from 2016, but to my knowledge this is still true.

EDIT TO ADD: This video from More Perfect Union claims the Resnicks took de facto control of the state’s water supply in 1994. But sure let’s blame fish conservation for the water shortages.
