That’s the life for a normal VP. It’s rare they’re anything other than ‘secure that state’ or ‘bring in that money’. Most of them spend their whole time in office cutting ribbons in front of post offices or being sent to visit dignitaries in other countries the president doesn’t want to visit or care about.

MAGAts really are scrambling to try and excuse Musk’s Nazi salute yesterday, usually inbetween shouts that ‘He’s being too obvious!’

Their latest cope is that “It wasn’t facsism, it was autism!”

I’ve seen train autism. I’ve seen video game autism. But Nazi autism? I believe it. I’m not memeing, I do in fact believe it exists and every last Trump supporter on the deep end of the spectrum with Nazi autism.

Sadly like everything else in their lives, that’s not an excuse no matter how much they say it does.

In only 1 and a half days in office Trump has already rolled back Biden’s order to lower prescription drug prices for Medicare and Medicaid recipients. 120 million Americans, more than a third of the country, enjoyed having their life saving drugs capped at over 4000% lower than what Big Pharma was gouging it at. Well it was fun while it lasted, because now Trump removed that cap and medicine is now set to go back up.

Congrats MAGA, you really are the eternal punchline.

Pretty sure the Holocaust didn’t start the day Hitler took over. No one was claiming everything bad will happen on day 1, but that it will start shortly after he swears into office. Rome didn’t fall in one day.

Edit: Forgot to mention that people’s point was that 1. Being a dictator for any amount of time is bad and 2. he has a history of letting power go, so his dictatorship wouldn’t last just a day.

The whole thing started with a joke from Trump in which he was asked if he would be a dictator and he said only on the first day.
The Democrats seized on that to start scaremongering about the dictatorship, and from there it got worse, since from there they jumped to the National Socialism thing.
The good thing is that the average American didn’t buy the story.

Yes. He lowered his arm, turned around and once again thrust it to his chest before jutting it forward in the classic Nazi salute. If he had just kept it up and pivoted there’d at least be some benefit of the doubt, but he really emphasized that no, there isn’t.

And no, we have guidelines for that.

And also yes, the Trump administration announced an ICE raid on Chicago set for today. Chicago is now looking like a “ghost town” because people are worried about it being made good on the threat.

But do keep putting your foot in your mouth, I always enjoy an easy laugh now and then.

Hell look at how “Weird” took off to the heavens earlier this year.

People spent 8 years calling MAGA all forms of degenerate and it’s synonyms, but it blew right over their heads. Probably because things like “reprobate” was a few too many syllables for their chimp brains to comprehend. “Blackguard” found some success despite still being too long to say, but no doubt for reasons other than MAGA knowing what it meant (ha, MAGA possessing knowledge. That’ll be the day).

But then Governor Walz randomly shrugged and said “Weird” once, and the entire cast of The Hills Have Eyes (re:MAGA) lost their goddamn minds. Well, at least what passes for a mind, this is still MAGA we’re talking about. You still see the occasional clip on Fox News where a grown adult unironically does the “I’M NOT MAD!” bit over the “Weird” trend.

So yeah I use memes because trying to explain how studies has shown people’s attention spans really have gotten shorter over the last few years goes through one ear and out the other (because there’s nothing inbetween to stop it in a MAGA’s head), but me embracing my inner Palpatine and drawing myself as a Chad and them as a Virgin is what finally gets them to understand that all this time I’ve been calling them idiots.
