Given antarctic sea-ice has been at unprecedented record highs over the last decade, it’s not a surprise some of it has finally broken off. The media panic over this iceberg is a red herring prompted by a poor understanding of the dynamics of sea-ice. It proves and disproves nothing. It is entirely irrelevant to climate change.
